Important Things That You Should Know

1. Emergeny Number
Emergency number on cell phone is 112. If you were in a place cannot receive any signal and need to call for help, please dial 112, and cell phone will try to find the available network to put through this emergency number to you, and which is very interesting is, this 122 can be dialed even the keypad is locked. 2. Car Key Left Inside the Car?
Do you use remote key? If your key left inside the car and the remote key is at home, just call your home by cell phone, and put near your cell phone about 30cm from your car, and ask your person at home to press the open on the remote key at home (when your person at home want to press the open remote, ask your person at home near the remote to the phone that he/she is using).

3. Hidden Back Up Battery
If your battery is low, when you are waiting for an important call, and your cell phone made by NOKIA, please dial *3340#, then your cell phone will automatically restart and your battery will be added 50%. This back up battery will be filled up when you charge your cell phone.

4. Tips to Check your Car/Bike validity (Jakarta Area Only)
Type: for example metro B8630MN send to 1717, there will be a reply from the police about your vehicle identity, this tips is also useful to know about used car that you want to buy.

5. If Your is Threatened being Robbed by Someone
To take out your money from ATM, you can ask help silently by giving your pin in reversed; for instance: your original pin is 1254 you input 4521 in the ATM then the machine will give you the money and also give signal to the police office without the thief knowing. This facility is available on all ATM but only less people know about this info.

6. To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits on your phone: * # 0 6 #
A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. Should your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code.
They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card your phone will be totally useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody did this, there would be no point in stealing mobile phones.
